Capt. Frank Leto – Owner & Lead Guide
Fourth-Generation Outdoorsman | Florida Native | Mentor to the Next Generation

Capt. Frank Leto is more than a seasoned guide—he's the embodiment of Florida’s deep-rooted outdoor traditions. A 4th-generation Tampa native, Frank was immersed in the sporting lifestyle from the very beginning. At just three years old, he was riding alongside his father on wild quail and duck hunts in the pine flats of Land O’ Lakes, flushing rabbits through palmetto thickets from Brandon to Ruskin, and stalking turkeys, hogs, and deer across the wildlands of Yeehaw Junction and deep into Alabama.

Raised by a family of anglers and outdoorsmen, Frank’s youth was a masterclass in the rhythms of the wild. This early and constant exposure to hunting, fishing, and land stewardship forged a passion that would evolve into a life’s calling. He has spent decades refining his craft, becoming an expert in waterfowl, upland birds, and big game—both as a skilled hunter and as a thoughtful, ethical sportsman.

Now in what he calls the "fifth and sixth stages" of his hunting journey, Frank finds the greatest reward not in the harvest, but in the opportunity to share the experience with others. His guiding philosophy centers on mentorship, conservation, and the unmatched joy of helping someone achieve a first—whether it's a child's first duck, a family’s first hunt together, or introducing someone to the wild for the very first time.

As owner and lead guide, Frank has built his business with a clear mission: to create high-quality, low-pressure hunting experiences rooted in tradition, education, and respect for the land. He specializes in guiding hunts through Florida’s untouched marshes, hidden backwaters, and private managed lands—delivering not just successful hunts, but meaningful, memory-rich adventures.

When he’s not guiding, you’ll likely find Frank scouting new spots, volunteering at youth hunting events, or spending time in the field with his own family—passing on the same values that were instilled in him.

If you’re looking to connect with someone who lives, breathes, and gives back to the outdoors—Capt. Frank Leto is the guide to know.
