Cody Beckman was born and raised in Florida, where his love for the outdoors took root at an early age. He has spent over 20 years fishing the greater Tampa Bay Area and more than a decade hunting in the region. Growing up, Cody had the opportunity to fish alongside some of Florida’s most respected guides, who became mentors and role models. Inspired by their knowledge and passion, he set his sights on becoming a captain himself.

Over the years, Cody has developed a deep understanding of the Tampa Bay waterways, learning how to fish them with expert precision while also becoming a dedicated steward of local fisheries and conservation efforts.

In his youth, Cody split his time between baseball and fishing—though his heart always leaned toward the water. His talent on the field took him to NC State and then into a five-year professional baseball career with the Milwaukee Brewers. After retiring from baseball, Cody chose to fully embrace his passion for the outdoors and now works as a full-time fishing and hunting guide.

Cody’s greatest joy comes from helping others experience the thrill and beauty of Florida’s natural world. Whether it’s on the water or in the woods, he’s dedicated to delivering unforgettable adventures and hopes every trip leaves his guests with a renewed appreciation for God’s creation and the incredible landscapes Florida has to offer.
