Capt. Mitch Roberts

Capt. Mitch Roberts

Born and raised in Florida, Capt. Mitch Roberts has had a deep connection to the outdoors since childhood. He began fishing local rivers and bays at a young age and quickly fell in love with the natural world—a passion that grew into a lifelong commitment to preserving and sharing that experience with others.

What started as simple fishing trips with his father soon evolved into a broader love for the outdoors, including hunting and conservation. Mitch met Capt. Frank Leto when he was just 10 years old while visiting a local tackle shop. By the age of 14, he began his guiding career as a first mate for Capt. Leto, and he has been part of Capt. Leto’s team ever since.

Being part of that team has given Capt. Roberts the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry, especially within the Tampa Bay region. Over the past eight years, he has become an avid duck hunter, mentored by the very individuals who first introduced him to the outdoors. Through their guidance, he has not only developed into a skilled hunter but also a dedicated steward of the land.
