You can find us by airboat access only, MILES from civilization, surrounded by flocks of teal, and tailing redfish!! Join us for a 24 hour excursion!! Check in at 6pm for a home cooked meal, sleep in the Teal Cabin overnight, awaken to hot coffee and breakfast, then head off to a private island duck blind for your teal hunt. That’s not all though! ……….The Turkey Hunter ………. .. . On this very same day 3 turkeys season ago I witnessed and shared a 7 year old crying happy tears over a great 1st Tom. That hunt lit a passion in this boy that’s all his own. He made up his mind he wanted to learn how to use a diaphragm call, a slate call, and a box call. Like any parent should I supported his passion and this kid now owns 9 diaphragms, a slate, and a hand me down HS Strut box call (it’s loud around the house come the first of March)!! 🦃 All that said Hunter and I set out this season with the intent of him calling in a bird with my help. We’ve hunted 4 sits so far this year and we’ve convinced 3 gobblers, several hens, and a few Jake’s that we sound real enough to get them in range. Sealing the deal took until this 4th sit and by Gods grace a GIANT bearded bird decided Hunter and I’s symphony sounded like a group of lonely/grumpy hens. We both were working slates and running diaphragms every 20-30 minutes on the clock. Soft yelps & purs, LOUD lost hens, aggressive hen fights, keekee runs….you name it …we ran it! 🦃 3.5 hours into a mid day sit after a hen fight sequence from Hunters Slate, and a few gobbles from my diaphragm Ol’Tom came charging in as you see him on the @moultrieproducts Edge2! What you didn’t see was the bird bolt off the Jake decoy after he chest bumped it and realized it wasnt real!!! Hunter quickly adjusted in his seat, I pulled a palm frond down to clear a lane, and quickly cackled at the Tom stopping and stretching him out at 27 yards. Through the saplings Hunter found that red/white/blue head and put the #9 TSS to work out of his single shot .410 ! 🦃 “LETS GOOOOOO!!!” Immediately belted out of his mouth and a quick sprint to the bird revealed a 10-3/4” beard on a 20+lb bird! Watching this young man come into his own is my greatest pleasure in life. God has blessed Brenda and I with a very passionate outdoorsman and I couldn’t be more smitten! 🦃 Thank you @adamstrangbass for allowing us to hunt your turkey heaven and I can’t wait for what the future holds for #WildLegacy ! . #TurkeyHunter #WildTurkey #EasternTurkey #OsceolaTurkey #FloridaTurkey #SwampChicken #ThunderChicken
